My Computer (Vista) Boots up very slow

Specs: Windows Vista, 4gb
I tried everything i could imagine to try and speed up by boot time. It takes me approx. 4 to 5 minutes from the time I start my machine till it reaches the desk top.I went on all different web sites to find out if any one had any ideas from tweaking the register to cleaning start up folders that needed to start. But my computer stills loads up very slow. Now what do I do?

For starters, leave the Registry alone as manual tweaking may cause you to make an error, possibly leaving Windows unable to start at all.

Don't have the Vista Sidebar enabled as that's a big contributor to your problem.
Install Ccleaner which shows you everything that starts with Windows in a single list, whether it's in the Registry or in your Startup folder. Ccleaner lets you disable any item in that list. Get it here:
