My computer only works on safe mode/networking. I tried to put it on normal mode but the microsoft sign comes on and then it stays blank. I tried restore, it didn't work , what can I do to get it running on reg mode?

Might be time to consider a "repair" using the vista DVD booted to the repair feature. If that doesn't work you have to try to recover your data and do a clean install.
