Specs: Windows Vista
i am having the same problem. My C drvie and D drive are filling up all the time but I dnot why. I keep cleaning up both hard drives and deleting un wanted programs and it stil keeps saying I am very very low space on c drive and d drive. IS there something on the back drive functioning that is filling up my hard drive unknowingly?
I can even open a word document and function with out it saying it cant auto save beucase there is not enough room on it.
I ahve Window's Vista. I really dont like this version becuse I dont know what it is doing and it is acting on it's own all the time time in the background.

First step would be to run your virus scans.

Clear your temporary internet files from within IE.

If there is room try MalwareBytes freebie too.

How large are your hard disks and how much free space is showing on them?

Various updates can eat away at your hard disk space but this usually happens quite slowly.

Even Defrag might help a tad for now.

If one of the HD's (D probably) is just for data or backups then you can turn off system restore for that disk to save some space.

Please do not post then vanish - let us know the outcome
