I recently purchased a new computer with Vista. It came with MS Works 9, but it won't open any of my old MS Works 3.0 files. I tried installing my old MS Works 3.0 but Vista wouldn't allow it. Are there any programs out there for converting MS Works 3.0 files into a format usable by MS Works 9 or MS Word 2007? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think your best bet is to find someone with an old computer that you can load Works 3 on, then save the files as plain txt files.
This program is far too old for MS to be still supplying coverters.

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought I might have to do, just wanted to see if a converter might exist to make life a little easier. Guess as I upgrade to a new computer I need to do so with my word processing software.
