Moving folders .bat

Specs: Windows Vista
I know how to move files from one DIR to

move *.wma C:\Users\Public\Music

My problem is I need to move the
folder/subfolders not just the files.

Since you're using Vista, it would probably be better if you used power shell instead. It's a free download. Some info on moving folders is at:

Cool thanx I'll give it a go. I tried the following bat but it didn't
work can you tell me why?

xcopy C:\Users\Wicked Clowns\Music /e

I put it in my public music folder and clicked on and it said the following over and over again but never moved anything

C:\Users\Public\Music> xcopy C:\Users\Wicked Clowns\Music /e

Maybe the white space in the wicked clowns directory had something to do with it. To eliminate white spaces, truncate the directory. wicked~1 Use the first 6 chars and add ~1
