Hi,
Just wondering how can i move the paging file to somewhere else? I create a RAM disk drive and wish to move it to that, see if it helps performance

How big is the ram disk drive. Is it gigabyte version? Also is it formatted and shows up like a hard drive. If so then follow the steps, click start, right click on my computer and select properties. Go to advanced tab and click on setting and go over to advanced tab, under virtual memory click on change it under there.

There is no advantage in putting your page file on a RAM disk. The space available for the RAM disk needs to be at least 1.5 times available memory otherwise you could stifle the page file. The memory used by a RAM disk would be better used conventionally unless you have memory that cannot be utilised by conventional means which is unlikely with Vista.
The only advantage in moving the Page file is if you can move it to a different physical disk. Moving to to another partition on the same disk it is on now will not achieve anything.
