We got in a ton of the new Fujitsu T5010 notebooks with vista. They came with XP installed but we recovered them to vista business 32bit because we need the 4 gigs of ram that came instaled with it as xp will not see beyond 2 or 3. Anyway.. Everything goes great after installing vista. After installing microsoft updates and rebooting the mouse pointer blinks and the blue circle keeps coming on and off like it has a constant background activity going on. It's very annoying. Has anybody had this problem?? My boss and I each have one as well but don't have this problem. Although there are updates ready to be installed but I'm not installing them just in case.... Any clues??

... try mouse settings and change the pointer scheme from Windows Aero to None.... optical mouse?... try a black mouse mat!

nope, tried that. I did find out that when I go into msconfig, services tab und uncheck the tablet PC input service the blinking stops but it disables the functionality of the tablet pen. Another weird thing is I went ahead and installed the remaining updates to my tablet which was working fine but now is blinking after installing the updates. The updated that were installed were for office 07 so I uninstalled office and all the updates but it's still blinking after a reboot. I am lost....

... any of these any help: touchpad mouse etc
