i am suddenly having streaking and a total break up of the image on my laptop monitor. It is an HP and only 2 years old. The system is windows Vista.
It has a lot of memory, as i added extra memory when i bought it. Is the video card dying?

It could be your video card. But if you are not positive what is
causing it, try having someone check it out. Like I'm sure Best
Buy (not the best place to go to get it repaired though) would be
happy to take a look at it. Once you figure out what's wrong it's
up to you to find a place to fix it. OR install a new videocard (or
whatever) on your own.
