I update my video drivers last night and then restarted my computer to make sure it was complete... the tower boots up to our user page (we have three people using the puter so we have sign ins) and the monitor just reads... Frequency out of Range.

The monitor is a gateway and I have never had a problem like this before... especially when doing updates... so what can I do...

I have been told to turn down my refresh rate... and to turn down my resolution...

I have to do this in safe mode... but I don't know how to? Any suggestions?

You have to reboot and guess when to press F8. Might even need a ps/ keyboard if usb keyboard fails.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
