Comment: Im trying to edit the BCD file in Vista. I cant use bcdedit because It just shuts down, even with parameters. Im looking for some tools, but I just cant seem to find them. Anyway, I'm trying to modidy the boot directory of my old windows (winxp) PS. Thanks to Justin for putting up a Vista forum. http://rhs08.com Got root?

Reply: (edit)I've already searched in microsoft, and I've read that already, but thanks anyway, I will try to modify boot.ini in the older OS so it can point to the right drive (or at least I think) If any of you know a tool that will let me modify the BCD file, in a nice interface, I'll appreciate it. http://rhs08.com Got root?
