Microsoft works 9

When I tried to paste something got a message saying Microsoft Works word processor 9 has stopped working. Windows will close programme and notify if a solution is available. Have tried reinstalling windows but still not working. Have also tried system restore but still no joy. Anyone else had the same problem or any ideas to help. Many thanks.

If you want to try to find out use event logs and start there. Dunno about what you saw about updates. If you told us we might know. Consider OpenOffice as a more modern solution. "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
