You mean the memory available for the VM?

If the machine is already started you can't change settings. Stop the machine and either type in the setting you want or move the slider. Otherwise delete the machine, try again. Might have a bad install but kind of unlikely.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

Uninstall & Reinstall MSVPC.

If the earth was created by a big bang, how come my car or computer or anything else isn't created the same way?

Ok sorry for not getting back with you, I've been researching this problem. I installed MSVPC on my Vista system and low and behold it did the same thing. I found the solution: Run Virtual PC in Compatibility Mode. Do this by going to Start, right click Microsoft Virtual PC, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and then make sure "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" is selected underneath. Click Apply and OK, and then pull up MSVPC and try again. With me, after running MSVPC once after turning Compatibility Mode on, it seemed to still work after turning compatibility mode back off.
