Microsoft Windows vista home premium w/s...

Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium
I had to reinstall Microsoft Outlook Office 2007 when my computer was repaired just recently. I'm having a problem when I send e-mails. I used to be able to click onto the "to" box, and all my e-mail contacts would come up. Then I would click onto the one I want to send an e-mail to, and it would automatically put that address in the "to" field.
This is not happening now . . what am I doing wrong? I entered some e-mail addresses, and when I click onto one of them, they don't go into the "to" field.
Can someone help me with this?

"when my computer was repaired"

Did they have to format your old drive and reinstall Windows? If yes then your data was lost with that old drive. I hope you backup your PST files once in a while. If you did then you could import the contact info from your old PST file.

No I didn't back up my old files. And, yes it lost everything.
I'm slowly restoring everything . . this e-mail business is giving me a problem.
It worked for me when I first installed it two years ago. Why shouldn't it work now?
There must be an adjustment that I can make so that when I select a name or e-mail address from my address book it automatically puts it into the " To" field.

I would TOTALLY dump is computer-based and when your PC lose alot of stuff.

Why not use a web-based carrier like yahoo or hotmail?
Unlimited storeage and great spam control and YES, when you type in a letter you get alll the suggestions.

I quit using outlook 9 yrs ago, I thought I had to have it because of my ISP' least I know better now.
