Hello
I would like to ask you whether you might know why I might be having problems to make a gmail account work under Microsoft Outlook 2007.
The problem is strange because I have been able to make it work under Windows Live Mail in the same computer by using the same settings I am applying under Microsoft Outlook 2007.
The error I am getting is this:

"La operación ha agotado el tiempo esperando una respuesta de envío del servidor smtp"
which would be something like
"the task has finished all the time waiting for a reply for the message sent by the smtp server."
Any help?
Thanks a lot.

Don't know about LiveMail as it's essentially a web-based program, but I'm guessing the SMTP settings are more critical in outlook - have a look HERE to check your settings.

I did all what they said. I have the same screens as they say in your link. Now I still do not know why it does not work.
Question: Might this have to do with bad forwarding ports settings in the router?

Thanks

Solved by uninstalling and reinstalling. The error was indicating corrupt installation.
Thanks
