Comment: Hi, My Vista laptop would run Dell MediaDirect each time I put DVD into DVD drive. I want to use Window Media Player to run DVD. But Window Media player is shutdown when I open DVD files. And MediaDirect displays to run the files. I copied the DVD files to a subdirectory in local C. Then I run these files with Window Media Player but MediaDirect displays to run the files. How do I stop MediaDirect to let Window Media Player run? Thank you for your suggestions Best, TC./

Reply: (edit)Dell MediaCenter is to Dell inspiron notebooks what Windows Multimedia Center is to Windows. Dell MediaCenter is an exclusive Dell design incorporated in Dell notebooks buttons. Learn to live with it. Once you have familiarize yourself by reading the FAQ HERE and watching the demo HERE, you probably will have second thoughts. After all you spent hundreds of dollars for this notebook, didn't you? i_Xp/VistaUser
