Hello,

I am trying to map a network drive so that any computer can connect to the drive as it logs on. I quickly realized that I would need matching usernames and passwords in both the computer and the server in order for it to work.

But, is there a way I go about it so that I don't HAVE to HAVE matching usernames and passwords, and STILL log on automatically?

All in all, I'm trying to set things up so that I have the different computers connect to the server using one set of username and password, but I don't want to change the different computer's usernames and passwords, not do I want to make a separate account for each of the computers on the server. (I don't want to change or create accounts.)

Thanks for the help in advance... Please let me know if any clarification is necessary.

I guess you could use smartcard.

Otherwise maybe run the script from a secure location that is protected by ntfs and behind locked doors.?? Seems like you could connect using AD credentials or other l2tp.
