I ssem to be having great difficulty mainting window settings and thumbnail/details setting. No matter how often I set them when I reboot the system the windows are back to default and the "details" back to thumbnails. Now for some unknown reason when the desktop appears so does the small "log-on to the Internet" window, in fact two of them appear. I can think of no program which asks for an Internet connection on start-up. Where do I start looking for the problem?

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

Ewen,

If your quiz is all about Windows Vista not remembering Windows Explorer Folder View settings, then I believe the following link is what you are looking for :-)
