Hi,
I need a software that will automate some simple tasks for my by pressing keyboard shortcuts.
I tried a couple of programs, but one of them was basically for text and the other needed to use some scripting language.
I want a program like the windows macro or the adobe photoshop actions, that will record my keyboard actions on the screen and then play them back whenever I want by pressing the keyboard shortcut.

The 2 most common and simple tasks I want to automate are:
1) Right click on an htm file>open with>adobe dreamweaver.
I want a shortcut for this that will allow me to just select the file and press the hotkey and it opens in dreamweaver (I cannot change filetype associations for htm files)

2) I need to right click on a pdf file>open with program>click on a button>wait till the tast is complete>then click exit>and then hit the red cross on top.

These are the two tasks I want to automate without learning any scripting language.

If someone can suggest some good programs to do this, that would help me a lot.
Thanks.

Sarosh

Hi
Google came up with nothing?
I use Macro Recorder 2.0 for very simple stuff.
It can:
· Record all mouse and keystrokes events of any windows application
· Play back recorded macro.
· Save recorded macro to disk
· Load a macro from disk
· Light indicator when recording process is running
· Hide window to tray

If your looking for something else please ask and I will try to assist!

Many Thanks,

Im now using a program named "macro express" which has been perfectly.
The porpose of my post was to find out which one was good with vista, becuase the older program I had worked perfectly on xp, but threw up all sorts of errors on vista.
Thanks though.
