Not if you don't format the drive, but you will have to reinstall all your programs. It's still a good idea to backup your data, s**t happens.

Why not just fix the password? Why re-install it? "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
