I installed a printer, while the computer was updating it froze so i turned it off and restarted it. When it reloaded, a message popped up saying "windows vista cannot load, you have to restore" or something along that line. So i had to restore the computer, well i lost all my files and it wasnt backed up. so my question is...is there anyway to restore the computer again to get all the pictures and files that i lost?

You can try www.runtime.org, but there's no guarantees regarding just how much of the overwritten data that you can recover. With this experience, hopefully, you'll remember to backup everything & anything you think is critical to you next time.
Good luck!

i'm sorry to say this but when you restored you erased you registry so you cant get you files back but for future reference you might want to use norton ghost image to back your entire computer so you wont loose anything.
