hello all, is there a way to load balance in windows vista? let me explain, i'm away at college and the internet in the dorms is restricted to 400k. The bandwidth is throttled back based on the MAC address of the adapter. I was wondering if i were to connect to my school's network twice (ethernet adapter and wireless) if i could possibly 'load balance' my internet. I realize that this would not in effect allow me to download a file at 800Kish, i would be more interested in separating the bandwidth based on application. for example, allowing iTunes to use the wireless adapter while i use the wired nic for firefox.

Dual interfaces really don't work well. There is no way to tell Itunes to use the wirelss adapter unless you disable the wired NIC, when you use it. You are trying to get more bandwidth from people who want to give you less.
