Linksys Wireless PCI not detected

CPU/Ram: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2

Hi, I just brought a Linksys Wireless-G PCI adapter, model no WMP54G. My problem: the card is not recognized, it doesnt even show up on device manager. Help? I have Vista 32-bit btw.

Have you access to another machine you could try the adapter in? If it doesn't work there, get it exchanged!

Have you tried it in all the PCI slots on your machine?

Made sure you've firmly pushed it in place - its easy to leave it sticking out a bit - I know!
