|The driver for all makes of DVD drives is a generic Microsoft one built into Windows, so it's unlikely that you've "lost" it. It may be just that Windows has failed to give it a drive letter, but you can give it one manually in:|
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management
Right-click the appropriate ribbone and choose "Change drive letter and paths".
