Lexmark E332n Keeps wanting me to add paper

I have a Lexmark Laser Printer E332n and every time I try to print the load paper light comes on even though there is plenty of paper in the printer. The printer makes a sound as if it is trying to pick up the paper but is unable to. What would cause this?

oh and the paper type is set for letter and I have letter paper loaded in the tray...

Try removing the paper and fanning it, then put it in again and try to manually feed a single sheet using the paper feed button.

Thanks I tried both it manually feeds paper fine and will print I did try fanning the paper and replacing it. however it still gives me a no paper error!

Do you have the software set to use the tray feeder? it could be set for manual feed, which is seperate. Go to your print setup and select the source for media.

Yes it is setup for tray feed. Believe me I have checked everything...the settings are fine I just can't figure out why the rollers won't seem to grab the paper in the tray
