Hi
I keep getting Paged Fault in Non Paged Area and would like to know what the "page" is and how I can solve its faults.
The Page fault occurs often in graphic intensive work and aside from power supply and cd drives is only component not replaced recently.
I need help to solve this bluescreen as I really dont want to fork out on a new one!

Many Thanks,
Joseph Middleton

The paging file is not a component that can be readily replaced. It is a system file placed on your hard drive. Most probably the cause of yor errors is that the paging file is too small for your running applications or is corrupted. Look for the paging file in system properties screen. Rt click on My Computer, click Properties, advanced and it is under one of the settings on that screen. It is possible to adjust the size of the paging file or turn it off. It may be a good idea to turn off the paging file, reboot your computer, turn it back on again and reboot. Windows will rebuild the paging file.

EDIT: In Vista look for Virtual Memory

Hi
Thanks, but I have done numerous re-installs of Vista and have had the same problem.
I will give the above a go and just hope that it means I dont have to replace my graphics card although I think that is the problem with a physical defect.
Thanks for the reply and I will update you on my paging file results.

Many Thanks,
Joseph Middleton
