Message: i turned on my laptop yesterday and a screen came up where it said that it was doing a system dump of my files and count from 0 to 100....anyways i called the shop where i bought and they told me to just wiped my computer with my recovery disks.. not sure if i should mention this, but i need a new battery , as mine will only power my computer for 10 when not plugged in. ANYWAYS when i put the disk in and turned on my computer, it starts the recovery process, but then shut my computer completly down. I tried taking out the battery and just leaving it plugged it, but it still does the same thing.. I removed the disk, and let the computer start and of course it won't take me to the main screen anymore, becasue i'm sure most of my files are gone because of the 1st problem i had,, and then becasue the recovery process had started before shutting down, but the funny thing is my system stays on and does not shut down. What should I do?? Any help would be greatly appreciated
