keyboard stopped working

I was using the internet and my keypad stopped working. The touchpad doesn't work either. I plugged a USB mouse in and that works but the keyboard still does not. Upon reboot, Windows asks if I want to start normally and the arrow keys/enter don't work to try and boot in safe mode. Some of the function keys work, ie if you hit them the screen freezes, but it doesn't enter setup or bring up a bios screen.
I was trying to figure out if I somehow locked the keyboard, but I don't think so....help!

I cannot get into the BIOS. If I hit any of the function buttons upon startup, the system freezes.
I called HP Support and they sent a box to collect the notebook and send it to a repair center. It's still under warranty so I guess they will resolve the issue. THanks for your help!
