I just have a simple question: How can I keep the command prompt open after running a program?
For example I am using a C++ compiler and everytime I run something I can see it for a second on the command propmt and then it closes itself.

Go to Start \ All Programs \ Accessories \ and click on Command Prompt. This will open a command prompt window that can be closed by either your clicking on the X on the box upper right corner or your typing EXIT.
