I still am using IE7. Does anyone know if going from IE7 to IE9 presents any issues? Is it better to upgrade to IE8 first? Thanks.

I've never had any issues, there seem to be plenty of issues with IE10.

Do your update via Windows Updates, it will steer you down the right path.

My Vista runs fine with IE9 and it copes with many changes that have taken place on the internet (unlike IE8 on XP).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I have windows 7 and still use ie 8. I know I may be crazy but I do not like ie 9 the see thru at top. When I open my browser I do not want to see thru to my desktop. I wish they would have made it where users can customize it like ie 8. I feel like I am being raped sometimes by being forced to upgrade the browser.

Re #5

Yep, only way to disable see through in IE9 is to disable areo on the whole computer.
Interestingly on IE10 there is no see through and many folk are moaning about it.
I agree that an option would have been better (for all IE's) but MS do not seem to like giving us options these days.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
