I need to find a plugin/addon remover for Internet Explorer 7/8 because i have several plugins i wish to remove, but i can't.
The remove buttons are greyed out and they can't be removed.
I know they can be deactivated, but i really want to remove them permanently.
Does anybody know where i can find such a tool for Vista ?

I am using Win XP Pro and find the addons at C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files

I suspect Vista has the same folder.

Just delete the ones you want gone from that folder.

There are several plugings, but the main plugin i want to remove first of all is "DyynoX Class" that was installed when i installed Xfire.
Xfire was some kind of a games tool !
Stupid me, now i can't remove it.
I was also stupid when i installed the other plugins.

Whats really weird is that the plugin was installed on my firefox too, but i removed it easily there.
On internet explorer it is locked ?

I deleted it from downloaded program files folder, but the plugin still remains active in the addon list.
Even after i restarted my computer ?
