Is there a clipboard in vista?

I am trying to find something that I 'copied' and needed to save, and then I went and 'copied and pasted' something else before I had 'pasted' the first copied item. I cannot seem to find a clipboard, which is where you should be able to find a history of all the items. Can someone tell me how to find a clipboard in vista? Or is it now officially "gone"? Help!

M$ replaced clipboard with Snipping Tool utility in Windows Vista.. Instead of trying out the not-so-easy to use Snipping tool, try one or both of the two freeware utilities that was highly recommencded in the post at the link below.
