I have had comments that windows vista isn't appropiate for gaming purposes and that it is too demanding. I would only like to ask if it is possible in anyway complicated or simple process to change windows vista into windows xp and how?
Thank you
hi

pretty much everything is too demanding on a vista computer with only 446 MB ram.
you cannot 'convert' vista into xp. you can get rid of vista and install XP instead, converting XP to Vista is not possible.
if you're looking forward to play games, you may upgrade your memory (2 GB is recommended). in your other post you're asking for the type of memory: check the specification of your computer on the HP website (or run SIW to determine the type of memory in use). if you want to add a graphics card, make sure your nainboard has a PCIexpress expansion slot (if not, then playing demanding games is simply not an option) and your PSU is sufficient to power modern graphic cards.
unlike low-end PCs off the shelve for $400-500, reasonable gaming PCs are available from $1000-1200 and there's a reason for that! no 'el cheapo' mainboard, a decent Power Supply, a nice vid card, etc.

Thank you for the advice, i appreciate it, so emm i should just upgarde it to 2GB thanks?
sorry my knowledge towards pc is apaulling what is a PSU and how do i run an SIW
Thank you
hi

http://www.gtopala.net/en/siw.exe
just run it, no installation required.
in the hardware section, click on 'memory' and also check the 'system slots' if PCIe (PCIexpress) is available)
PSU = Power Supply Unit ... if no specifications found in your manual, open the case and get the details off the sticker - W/Watt is the value you're looking for)

Why buy a HP PC if you want a gaming rig ?
A self-built PC by a local PC Retailer is quite often a very cost effective purchase and you get what you want.

sorry never new hp anyway i will upgade the whol machine at least into an avergae gaming machine surely
