Internet explorer will not run - script error

I was happily browsing the web three days ago and turned the computer off. I went on it yesterday and it came up with ...file:///C:/Program%20Files/Dell%20Support%20Center/sscommon/common/inc/ss_shellinclude.js ... then says run page anyway? no matter what u choose internet explorer does not work and i have no idea why!! Can anybody help? pleaseeee
I have heard people say uninstall and then re install internet explorer but i don't know how or if thats the right thing to do?? Thanks i hope someone can help ...

go into internet explorer/tools/internet options/advanced.
There you can reset Internet Explorer

Give that a try and let us know how you make out.
