Hello,
I have this issue while using Internet explorer. After about 20 - 30 minutes of usage, things get weird and pretty much useless. Right click seems to become disabled and some images do not display. It seems to happen faster if browsing graphics. (Yeah, go ahead and make your pron comments) However, it really isn't associated with just pron, It has done this fresh out of the box. I have even started using Mozilla Firefox, and it still does this after 20-30 minutes.

Is this something to do with a swap file or memory issue? How would I increase my swap file anyway. It is quite frustrating having to end task on explorer and start it over again every half an hour. Any one who has had this problem or can help, your input would greatly be appreciated.

Matt

You NEED more RAM .... you'll be surprised at the outcome of that decision once you commit to it.

In all honesty, 768MB is a pittance for a Vista system that you would expect very smooth performance from; although intoducing pr0n into the mix can only make a bad situation worse.

Try increasing the size of the Temporary Internet Files Folder (TIF).

IE, Tools, Internet Options, General tab, Browsing History section, Settings button.

Mine is set to 60mb and never have a problem (even when viewing pr0n).

While you are in there go to the Advanced tab and under the Security section set the TIF to empty when the browser is closed.
Click Ok and exit the browser.

Exit the browser when the problem begins to re-occur.

Thanks I appreciate the info. I will try that. I am surprised to find out that Vista is pushing the limits of 766mb of ram. I will get more. Thanks again for the advice.
