Whenever I go to the US time clock website (time.gov), the box showing the time is empty. However, if I call up the same website on Firefox, the time is displayed ok. How do I make it show up in IE?

May have something to do with ActiveX or Java Applets being turned off or your security settings may be to high.

Who in their right mind would ever need more than 640K of RAM!?

Keep in mind not all websites will work with IE8 yet even the compatiblity mode on IE8 won't work with some sites still. I ran into a few sites that run into problems with IE8 forcing the browser to close.

This has got to do with your IE settings and not with what IE are yuo running. try to go to your settings and disable or lower its private settings.
