Comment:
I purchased a sony vaio vgn-ar71m in November 2008 and it worked fine from day 1. However, today when i logged on internet explorer wouldn't work and wouldn't load any websites. My laptop was connected to the internet as I could still receive my emails using windows mail. The message I received when trying to use internet explorer was internet explorer cannot display the webpage for any website i tried to access. Therefore i pressed the diagnose connection problems which had a message showing windows did not find any problems with this computers network connection. I have also tried to use other browsers (firefox, safari) but they do not connect either. The only thing that has changed is the windows updates KB957055 and KB957055. I have also done a system restore but this hasn't solved the problem either.
