i can't delete my browser history, certain thing seem to stay. i have uninstalled ie and reinstalled it and yet they are still there! what do i do???

tools > internet options > general tab > delete browswing history

i did that it deletes everything but about 5 entries in my browser history

expand the address bar and click on each red "x" to delete the entries

i did that as well and i closed the browser and restarted then logged back in and opened my browser and their they still were :(

tools > internet options > general tab > check "delete browsing history on exit" > press ok

i already had that as my option to delete on exit, however these websites still got saved, i am a little lost here as to how that happened...

it's sites my brother checked on myspace, nothing bad it is really just annoying at this point

go here

download it and install it

that should clean your browsing history

but before that check if that sites are stored in favorites folder

if they are try deleting them

also try disabling auto-complete in tools > internet options > content tab

select delete auto-complete history

gone sleeping

that will keep them from coming up but once i turn that back on they are back... i will try doing the download, hopefully it works :)

Click on Tools>Internet Options and then Delete (under Browsing History) On the next screen uncheck the top option (preserve Favorites web site data). Click Delete at the bottom. That should remove all of the entries from the list.
