Ok, my internet stops responding or disconnects every 15 minutes or so it varys (Sometimes for over an hour, rare though) But then connects again. Its really annoying because it disconnects from games, MSN, downloads, and all that s---. I'm unsure of the problem though because the internet was fine before, anyways, mostly what I need is to know the problem, I've checked all the wires, and this only happens on my computer, no one else in the network, so its not the modem.

Do you Have Mcafee total protection installed on your computer? Because the privacy and spam killer really like to mess with things. If you do try going to start> control pannel> uninstall program> mcafee> change click on the spam killer and privacy options and unistall. If you dont have Mcafee, and the games arent going through try going to the windows fire wall and allowing that game or program. I had to uninstall the spam and privacy from mine just to download music.

Id rather die on my feet then live on my knees.

Add DNS server address entry manually in your TCP/IP Settings (Primary & Secondary )
And run spyware check as well..

Yes I have mcafee, its just I can do everything I want to on the internet, its just the whole computer disconnects from the internet for a minute or so, or a few seconds

I am having the same problem. My DSL disconnects when I try to access MySpace. Sometimes I can get signed in, but I cannot view anyones profile. I contacted my DSL provider and they told me it was the website. I thought that may have been true until I went to a totally different website and it did the same thing. My DSL activity light stopped blinking then the power light showed red, then the DSL icon in my bottom bar across the computer gets an X on it because it disconnects. Then I have to wait on it to connect again, usually only 30 seconds. It does this on only my computer. Nobody else I've asked, has ever heard of this problem. I don't have Mcafee.
