I am starting to have problems connecting to the internet. If the computer stays on and I get a connection it is fine, but when I shut the computer down, I might be able to connect and then sometimes I can not connect.
I have called my ISP help center and they tell me and assure me it is NOT a router/modem problem. They have had me got into my LAN settings and the IVP4 connectivity shows local. They have had me tweak various settings and still can not get it to connect. We spent well over an hour today trying to fix this problem. I have turned off the router and unplugged the power adapter. Then it worked!!! This has been going on for several weeks now. I am beyond frustrated with this.
Under Device Manager - Network Adapter - I see this: Microsoft 6to4 Adapter #6 then beside the icon it shows a yellow triangle with and exclamation point. I have googled it and did not even understand what that problem is. I called the ISP help center back and they did not know what that error was.
I am using a Comtrend ADSL2 +Combo Router, I have even Google'd this router to see if there was a problem with it. Nothing shows up on Google.
I am not that computer savvy, please help.
