I have a D975XBX2 intel mobo and I just bought a Blu Ray burner. The problem is it's a Sata connect and my primary sata controller is full with other HDD's.
I disconnected one of the HDD's and installed the Burner with no issues. Then I enabled the secondary sata controller (through bios) and plugged the other HDD into that.
Vista doesn't see the drive on the secondary controller. I have BOOitNG which can see the drive but Vista can't. I installed the Marvell RAID driver (even though I'm not interested in RAID) thinking that this had something to do with it.... but no joy..... vista still can't see the drive.
