okay... so my old computer crashed and i was forced to get a new one with Vista! i go to insgtall my Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard and am told there are "issues." However, there is a download to fix the problem. So I do the download, turn off the computer, plug in ghe keyboard, turn it back on and, of course, it doesn't recognize my keyboard. I have the software installed, but it won't detect my keyboard. Help! What to do.. what to do?? thanks! julie
2. If it is, did you download the software from this site?

Yes, that's the keyboard I have. Although I purchased it last year - could that be the problem? And, yes, that's where I downloaded from. julie

Not sure but is this how you tried to install the kb?
If that's how you tried to install the kb, go to Start / Control panel - keyboard and change the type. HP would rather have people use their own brand.
