okay... so my old computer crashed and i was forced to get a new one with Vista! i go to insgtall my Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard and am told there are "issues." However, there is a download to fix the problem. So I do the download, turn off the computer, plug in ghe keyboard, turn it back on and, of course, it doesn't recognize my keyboard. I have the software installed, but it won't detect my keyboard.
Help! What to do.. what to do??
thanks!

1. M$ natural ergonomic keyboard 400 is certified for Vista. Is this what you have?

2. If it is, did you download the software from this site?

Yes, that's the keyboard I have. Although I purchased it last year - could that be the problem?
And, yes, that's where I downloaded from.

Not sure but is this how you tried to install the kb?

If that's how you tried to install the kb, go to Start / Control panel - keyboard and change the type. HP would rather have people use their own brand.
