Comment:

When my new motherboard arrives, will I be able to install Windows Vista and activate like I normally would, or would I have to deactivate the installation on my old motherboard first? If so, how would I do deactivate it?

If you have a OEM copy of vista than you are going to have to call microsoft and activate it, if it is a full copy or a upgrade copy you should be able to activate with no problems.
