Reply: (edit)this model number obviously is incorrect (hp lists only 239 different desktop PCs and laptops with this model no.) ... be more specific. search HP's website for vista audio drivers that suit your model. if they don't provide any, then find out from you technical specification (in the user's manual) which sound card is installed (or get SIW) and check the manufacturer's website for vista drivers. Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

Reply: (edit)when I installed vista buisness It didnt recognise my sound drivers but when i had internet hooked up i clicked on the speaker and it told me i needed realtech drivers and took me to the site ( with much prompting) I installed the vista driver and poof it worked. I was amazed. It actually told me how to fix it. I hope that your experience is as easy.
