Installation Error

Hello, Im trying to install MicroTech Laptop Software on my laptop and everytime I run into an error trying to install. It reads:
Error 1324.The path C: contains an invalid character.

Could anyone help with this?

My guess would be a bad program. Get with the maker of that for a md5 or shal to test against or get new media.

Could also be some issue with your data from CD to hard drive.


Normally what that means is something is trying to make either a folder or file with a un-allowed character. Sometimes unix people mess that up when porting. Sometimes in very rare cases the file length is too long.

Hm I just tried it on my desktop and it works. But its intended for laptops for tuning vehicles. Hmm my C:\ seems to be fine..ugh lol
