The best we can tell you is what orbital already told you - return it for exchange.

If for certain reasons a return is not that easy of an option due to a remoteness from the retail outlet where it was pickup or another temporary inconvenience. One thing you can do is reload the system if it came with a set of recovery discs.

Now before you do the above you should try to access Vista's "Windows Recovery Environment" (WinRE) & see if you can fix this message from there. It can be accessed by pressing F8 during startup.

Once the system is booted into the WinRE interface, there are a few options there for you. You can also try a repair from the Vista DVD - if you happen to have it accompany the machine.

Give it up for MC Rove

Dont get disks with advent machines... You start up windows and it gives you the option to burn one then, as it did with my laptop.. But as my windows wont work at all with the PC i got today, then this is impossible for me to do... The only Cd i got with my New computer was Works 8.5

Unfortunately yours appear to be Out-Of-The-Box LemonPC. Is there any reason specific reason why you won't return it or don't want to return it for exchange? The manufacturer has to guarantee you a working PC.

Its just the item was brought with a voucher from the insurance company therefore couldnt be delivered by them... The computer was not availible to be picked up at the local store, so had to travel 13.5 miles to go and pick it up from a store were it was availible to be picked up from...
