Install vista booting from Floppy?

Do you guys know if there is a way to boot from floppy to install Windows Vista?

You have to be kidding. The life of floppies as software installer died a long time ago.

Curious are you desperate to make use of a dying PC? First you told us HERE that your PC is crashing with DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD. Then you told us HERE that you've got a problem booting XP off your Lecteur de CD-ROM drive.

In a word NO!
At the very least a DVD reader is required, as that is the media Vista is supplied on.

Ok, for some reason my DVD drive does not boot with the vista DVD or any CD for that matter.

Well, yes it can be done.

Might be easier other ways. I'd fix the drive or get a usb dvd. Might see if a friend has one to try even. Remember the the golden rule, you bend it you buy it.

See vistape and put to usb flash then install from network mounted or large flash maybe.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
