Inspiron 530 Trouble Shooting

Specs: Windows Vista
Hello, I'm here to ask about a problem that I have slammed into. Recently, I have just replaced my computer's (Inspiron 530) power supply (ATX12V Ver.2.2 500W). I have also included an addition of a new graphics card (Nvidia - GeForce GTS 450). However, when I power up the computer, it does proceed in turning on and beeping once for a clarification that everything is well. But, then it stops at the Dell loading screen and I can't interfere with anything from there. Also, not sure if this helps but I thought I'd include this detail, there's a light on the motherboard in which is glowing orange, which I can't tell is bad or good thing. I assumed that something was wrong in terms of not plugging in something or plugging in the wrong item, but so far I've found everything to be correct in my view. But, obviously something remains unsolved in which I ask you guys, any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

I assume the old power supply was faulty.

Might be worth putting back the old graphics card to see if that is the problem.

Please come back and let us know how you got on.
