hello i am trying to recover photos from a hdd that i think has been part or all through the recovery mode (not too sure user says they clicked it by mistake) i have took the hdd out of the computer (reason for this is person used recovery or part recovery and when i switch on comp it keeps asking to do a recovery) and have it hooked up to my computer through ide/sata reading device through usb anyway i cant see the drive (have done with other drives in the past but not this one) but in disc management i can see drive 6 and it says it needs to "initialize disc" but when i click to do this it says the device is not ready any ideas or anything on best how to try and get photos back
btw i have the recovery software as i have used it before no problem
