I'm having an extremely hard time importing address book contacts from a laptop with XP home to a new computer with Vista Home. I've been trying for ages, but Vista doesn't recognize the WAB files from XP, i.e. when I tried a transfer via USB stick. It's really frustrating!

Address book (address.wab) in Microsoft Outlook becomes Windows Contacts in Vista.
Click on the link "To import contacts created in another program" given in the link below. It should automatically convert all your contacts in the Windows Address Book to the new Windows Contacts format.
