Imaging using Ghost 9.0

I have a dell vostro that has viruses so I'm trying to image the vostro using Ghost 9.0. At the beginning of the Ghost program it starts the network services (usually) allowing me to actsess my server, but instead im getting a ERROR message saying: Factory.EXE; failed to install network adapter -- check WINBOM, can anyone help

Creating an image of a virus contaminated system is a waste of time and will result in infection of any drive/partition it is restored to.

What is the file extension? Ghost 9 had two versions in it. One was the new then v2i and the older gho.
